Dashboard Staff The Club will again drive together in the Stockyards Christmas Parade. If you would like to join in this event be at the Exchange Baptist Church to line up (1312 S. Pennsylvania Ave, Penn and Exchange St.) We will meet at 10 a.m. on the east side of the church to decorate and get in line for the parade at 11:30. We had a lot of fun last year and someone was kind enough to bring candy and several of us walked with the cars carrying the flag and others handing out that candy. The cars looked great and the decorations were simple and fun to do, use your imagination. Hope to see you there. Following the parade will be the club's annual Christmas Party and Dirty Santa Gift Exchange. The location will be in Stockyards City at Cattlemen's from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost for the dinner is $11 per person payable at the dinner. We have guaranteed 50 attendees. The food is good and the Dirty Santa Gift Exchange is always fun. Be sure to bring at least one gift to put "under the tree" for everyone in your party. If you bring children be sure to bring gifts appropriate for children and tell Santa's helpers which ones they are. |
